Counseling and Discipline

Return to Coaching

A counseling session is a discussion about an apparent performance problem. Every supervisor will eventually conduct such a meeting. It is imperative that individuals understand the relationship between that important activity and the disciplinary process. Many supervisors confuse this discussion with a disciplinary penalty. This course will treat a counseling session as a method to avoid discipline. By placing these two topics in a one-day course, we can help those who must use these tools to better understand how they relate.
